For once, the entire world has something in common: we’re all dealing with loss and grief from a pandemic. As someone who is lucky enough to not have lost someone close to me due to this pandemic, I know others who have lost loved ones.
This isn’t the type of book you’ll pick up to read on a whim. You might not even be able to get through it in one sitting. However, it was helpful in many ways.
The tone was gentle and not at all condescending about how to get through this pandemic. Everyone grieves differently and handles the situation in their own way. The author understands that and was still able to shed some light on the situation and share useful advice and words of wisdom.
If you’re looking for some inspiration or reassurance that you’re not all, Beyond Loss in a Pandemic by Linda Donovan is an excellent read.
