If you don’t know, The Merry Writer began as a Twitter hashtag game in 2018. Today, it’s a fun, informative podcast about all things creative writing and books.
Join co-hosts Ari Meghlen and Rachel Poli every Wednesday while we ask and answer all the “write” questions.
This week, we’re doing a podcast tag. Come join the conversation here!

Rachel Poli is an indie author, podcaster, and content writer working on her debut cozy mystery novel.
Although she favors mystery, Rachel is a multi-genre author with too many ideas and characters in her head, often experimenting with short stories and flash fiction.
When she’s not writing, she’s reading, organizing something, or playing video games. She currently resides in New England with her zoo.
I’ve wondered about doing a podcast from time to time but between the technical and time aspects have always fallen back on the too much work side of the question.
I am an avid podcast listener with a regular weekly queue of shows I listen through during my commutes and other tasks that require I drive somewhere. Though some of my shows drop on longer schedules most a weekly and I look forward to each and every one of them to appear in my queue. Only one drops more often and I always check the subject before deciding whether to listen that particular episode.
